Google news is a computer generated news sites that allows its users to have a free access to an aggregated directory of the lates news topics worldwide. It coolects news from different sources and group similar articles togther and display them according to your personalized interests. I know many of you are using this service and probably on a daily basis. I am a voraciuos news reader and love to stay updated especially on topics that interest me like Mobile Learning and Mobile technology in general.
Google News has recently issued a new service called the system of online badging. This system lets google news n users earn badges as they read their favorite articles. This know as gamification which is the addition of game mechanics to non game activities. There are more than 500 badges designed by Google to classify avid news readers. Google news readers in the US now will be able to enjoy different bragging badges such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Ultimate over their less news-addicted friends.
